Our Residences

The Boardman Lake Glens community comprises three separate safe and secure residences—the Inverness, the Brigadoon, and the Highlander (see above). Each single-level apartment house is a friendly, intimate, smoke-free community with twenty spacious apartments in a variety of floor plan options—all with views toward Boardman Lake.

One convenient monthly fee

A central part of our mission is to make premier retirement living accessible and affordable to a wide spectrum of seniors. Apartment rents are determined by the size of the apartment, and residents pay one monthly fee that covers rent and a long list of amenities and services, including:

		Three healthy and nutritious chef-prepared, restaurant-style meals per day
		Impeccable weekly housekeeping and individual, personalized laundry and linen services
		All utilities except telephone and cable TV
		Medication reminders and management
		Activities programs
		“At Your Door” van transportation with wheel chair lift
		Beauty salon, including manicurist, pedicurist, and massage therapist
		Registered nurse who oversees each resident’s care plan
		House manager at each of our three residences
		Professional, dedicated, 24-hour awake staff available upon request on an as-needed basis
		Use of all common areas

Community areas for all to enjoy

In addition to our beautiful apartments, each residence has spacious community areas for the enjoyment of all residents. There is plenty of room for entertaining, socializing, and dining with friends and relatives.

		Family-style Dining Room: Enjoy your meals in a cozy setting with beautiful views of the lake. Homemade meals are prepared in the adjacent newly remodeled kitchen. Meals are served family-style three times a day, and guests are always welcome.
		Community Room: Adjoining the dining room, this newly redecorated living room is a great place to gather with friends, read a book, play a game, or just enjoy the fireplace and, of course, views of the lake.
		Library: Find a good book or magazine. Large print books are available.
		Sunroom: Each residence has two sunrooms overlooking the lake. These are great places to get away and enjoy the seasons up close. Work on a puzzle or get some exercise—each sunroom has something special to offer.
		Courtyard and Patio or Deck: The central courtyard is a great place to watch the geese and ducks, feed the birds, or enjoy a cookout. Patios and decks provide prime lake views, fresh breezes, and plenty of sunshine.
		Beauty and Barber Salon: Need a hair cut or styling? A full range of services are available each week in the salon, including manicures, pedicures and therapeutic massages.
		Laundry: Complimentary laundry facilities are available for your use.

Safety and security for peace of mind

In order to provide a safe and secure environment for all our residents, each building is equipped with an array of safety features.

		Alarmed outside exit doors
		Emergency call system throughout the building, including apartments and personal and community restrooms
		Heat and smoke detectors in every apartment suite
		Fire sprinkler system throughout each building
		Each apartment is individually keyed for privacy and security
